Discipline Used: Video
The “I Used to Be...” video highlights an inspiring truth about real estate: agents come from all walks of life. Before embarking on their real estate journey, our agents had diverse careers, bringing unique skills and perspectives to their work.
For this project, we featured real agents from Shorewest, capturing their stories to show how anyone can thrive in this industry. Using Adobe Premiere, I handled both the shooting and editing of the video, crafting a narrative that celebrates individuality and transformation.
Sketch and Video Idea
Creativity often strikes in the most unexpected places. For me, it was the lunchroom couch. My former coworker always encouraged me to step away from my desk to find inspiration—and she was right. One day, I grabbed a notebook, settled into the couch, and started sketching ideas.
The result? A rough outline that sparked the first 18 seconds of this video. That casual doodle grew into a fully realized project, filled with engaging visuals and a resonating story. It's a testament to how stepping out of routine can open new perspectives and fuel creativity.
Look at the final video below—proof that sometimes the best ideas are born away from the desk.
